An opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Technical Solution Engineer with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering to join our growing team. Based in Buckinghamshire, we are a leading provider of hardware and software solutions into both industrial and retail markets.
 
BASIC SALARY: £28,000 – £35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Solutions Engineer / Technical Solutions Engineer – Packaging & Process Machinery : Food Industry
 
As our Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of project and works. With a proven technical background supported by a technical qualification you will liaise directly with customers and other departments within the business to ensure resource/support is available to meet project timelines seamlessly.
 
In addition to the above you will also:
· Have a high level of technical knowledge to enable you to assist in projects and install at various levels across all commercial areas of the business
· Possess a working knowledge of CAD variants
· Lead meetings to ensure project information is shared within the business stakeholders when requested
· Identify areas for process improvements and make recommendations
· Support the sales team in offer related activities including on/off-site demonstrations
· Be willing to travel throughout the UK spending on average 1 day a week on the road
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Solutions Engineer / Technical Solutions Engineer – Packaging & Process Machinery : Food Industry
 
· You must have a B-TEC or above in an engineering discipline – ideally Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
· You will be driven, organised, a team player and possess confidence in your own ability
