Due to continued expansion we are now looking for an Ecommerce Logistics Manager to join the head office team based out of Amersham with responsibility for an aditional site in Banbury. Leading the ecommerce team our Ecommerce Logistics Manager will ensure that the operation delivers operational, service and cost targets which support the business in delivering a great customer experience for our online channel.
Responsibilities – E-Commerce Logistics Manager
– Effective liaison with the online team to ensure commercial plans are understood and appropriate fulfilment capacity is in place.
– Produce, monitor and deliver financial budgets and forecasts for the fulfilment operation.
– Delivery of operational KPIs relating to fulfilment availability, stock accuracy and productivity.
– Ensure regular reporting of performance KPIs.
– Develop and lead a right first-time mindset within the fulfilment team.
– Establish and lead a continuous improvement programme.
– Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring the ecommerce operations are well represented and business requirements are understood.
– Develop and support positive relationships with our logistics providers across the network.
Key Skills – E-Commerce Logistics Manager
– Significant experience in e-commerce operations – either in-house or 3PL, ideally with direct operational accountability.
– Experience of retail environment ideally with significant seasonal variability.
– Would welcome applications from those who have had GM, eocmmerce site management experience
– Line management experience, leading operational teams.
– Experience of operating a continuous improvement programme.
– Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages with good Excel skills.
– Basic level of lean methodology.
As Ecommerce Logistics Manager you will be able to provide strong collaborative leadership to the ecommerce operations. You will have experience in driving improvements in operational processes in an ecommerce environment to benefit the end customer. Our Logistics Manager should also be prepared to work at both an operational and more strategic level, be well organised and have strong problem-solving capability. The role is primarily a head office position however does give a great opportunity for some national travel. You may have gained your previous experience as a Head of Operations E-Commerce, Ecommerce Warehouse Operations Manager or Ecommerce General Manager.
