Gas Engineer (Training in Renewables)

£40,000 + Van + Fuel + Company Pension + Private Healthcare + Holidays

Are you an experienced Gas Engineer who has reached a cap in their career where you are looking to take the next step in your technical development?

Are you looking for a role that will provide you with structured and effective training to expand your skills into various renewable energy technologies such as Solar, Biomass and Heat Pumps?

This company is one of the largest suppliers of renewable heating solutions for domestic properties in the UK and are looking for a number of talented individuals to be a part of their exciting growth plans by hitting the ground running and then gaining further training on the job.

In this role you will responsible for providing planned and reactive maintenance to heating systems such as Solar and Biomass in and around the Stevenage-Milton Keynes patch. You will also be involved in commissioning work, carrying out site surveys and staying away overnight on occasions.

The ideal candidate will be driven by the opportunity to take multiple new steps up in their career by building upon their knowledge and experience acquired as a Heating Engineer. We are looking for someone with qualifications that show excellence in the field such as being Gas Safe, F Gas, Part P or G3.

This is a great role for someone who fully grasps the importance of renewable energy in the immediate future and who wants to secure their career for the years ahead by gaining new, indispensable skills in the sector.

The role:
* Travelling to customer sites in the Stevenage-Milton Keynes area, with occasional overnight stays
* Providing repair work to various products covered by the company's warranty scheme
* Involvement in carrying out site surveys and commissioning work where required
* Supporting both customers and other engineers by sharing technical input and advice
* Responding to breakdowns of heating systems

The person
* Demonstratable experience as a Gas Engineer (Part P, G3, Gas Safe, Oftec)
* Experience with renewables highly advantageous (solar, biomass, heat pumps)
* Full UK driving license and happy with working in a mobile role with occasional overnight stays
* Driven by technical progression and learning opportunities
* Living in the area north-northwest of London
