Site Engineer required for a major highways project.

·Long-term freelance position

·Immediate start

I work with a leading main contractor delivering a major Highways England project. They have an immediate vacancy for a Site Engineer within their Night shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Developing and reviewing safe systems of work

·Programming and co-ordinating site activities

·Daily and weekly co-ordination of sub-contractors

·Ensuring compliance with safe systems of work

·Ensuring all works comply with highways and project specification and drawings

·Writing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans for works (ITP)

·Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with approved ITP

·Ensuring all activities on site are recorded through daily diaries and photographs
