I am working with a new nursery located in Chesham who are looking to recruit a Room Leader to lead the team in their 3-5s room. The nursery are an enthusiastic team with the welfare and interests of the children at heart. Their passion is to ensure each child reaches their full potential within a loving, nurturing, safe and stimulating environment. This is a permanent position for 40 hours a week.

Key responsibilities:

* Support the manager in their daily role

* Organise staff to prepare and supervise activities

* Ensure room staff understand Nursery Policies

* Ensure that ratios are adhered to at all times

* Devise a room timetable after discussion with the Manager implementing all key areas of the EYFS

* Know and understand all Nursery Policies

To be considered you must:

* Minimum Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
* Experience of the EYFS and using it within a nursery setting
* Enthusiastic, passionate, and full of ideas to encourage learning and development
