A rare opportunity has arisen for driven Structural Engineer who has management and leadership skills to join a highly reputable, successful and friendly Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy with offices based in Milton Keynes.
This role is the perfect opportunity for a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer who is potentially looking to take the next step in their career, possibly take on a greater level of responsibility by managing their own team, or someone who just wants to move into a new and exciting position! The ideal candidate will::
Be experienced with providing management and support to Junior Engineers and / or CAD Technicians.
Ideally experienced in the cost-effective and efficient management of multiple projects
Be successful in delegation of workloads
Possess varied design experience ideally within a multi-disciplined engineering consultancy
Be able to manage projects effectively from initial conception through to completion; managing clients expectations and your team throughout; evidencing solid time management skills
Be responsible for the production of clear, concise and accurate professional reports, documentation and correspondence for both construction professionals and domestic clients
Be committed to producing high quality work and to promoting the reputation of the company
As the Lead Engineer you will evidence excellent interpersonal, oral and written English communication skills and have the ability to liaise directly with client and with other consultants/suppliersPossessing a solid degree in Civil or Structural Engineering you will either be Chartered or ideally working towards Chartership; my Client can provide further support if required to assist in your development to Chartership level.
