An exciting phase of significant growth at this software company has created a new opportunity for a Software Business Analyst with strong functional requirements experience.

There will be some travel with the role but it is not extensive, there is flexibility for home working although you need to live in commuting distance of the Milton Keynes office and willing to work in the office when required.

We are looking for someone to take responsibility for the detailed functional analysis of customer requirements; you will be gathering requirements, creating the specifications and documenting the exact business need including functional and non functional requirements.

This is a role for an strong communicator with exceptional eye for detail.

Key criteria for the Business Analyst:

Proven track record in a IT software business analyst role 

Knowledge of functional and non functional requirements

Experience of Agile and structured software development environment

Experience of writing user stories

Experience of gathering requirements in particular for web and mobile services

Some data handling experience would be preferred such as SQL and XML

Any knowledge of TDD and BDD development environments would be really useful
