Technical Architect – Azure
 
Location – Can work remote but will have to visit their office in Milton Keynes 2-3 times a month
Salary – 65-75k plus excellent benefits
 
This advanced technology company based in Milton Keynes are enjoying a sustained period of growth and are looking to add a Technical Architect to their IT services team. The Technical Architect will scope, design and lead Cloud and Security solutions for a wide range of external clients. The candidate must have excellent customer facing and communications skills as you will work with external clients to find the best technical solution for their organisations and then work with them to deploy it. The Technical Architect will have extensive experience of Azure and Cyber Security services preferably within a Managed Service environment. This position will work closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to develop, deploy and manage the delivery of services to new customers, as well as to adapt services for existing customers in order to continuously improve the efficiency of our delivery capability.
 
Core responsibilities:

Develop, deploy and manage the delivery of Cloud and Security solutions to new customers & existing clients
Create High Level Design / LLD for complex projects scopes
Hands-on delivery of projects and professional services to their clients
Effectively manage customer issues, security incidents and potential breaches as well as post-event analysis
Work closely with the Sales team and key clients to identify and present new solutions 
The Technical Architect will have expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and solid experience of Cloud and IT Security best practices and will have a hands-on engineering approach. The Architect will have excellent client facing skills with strong documentation and team leading experience. You will have previously lead Cloud migrations projects and will have kept your skills up to date by gaining the latest Microsoft Azure certifications preferably AZ-300, AZ-500 or AZ-400 Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions.
 
The Cloud Architect will need to be able to work to deadlines think on their feet, take responsibility and work under their own initiative. An excellent inter personnel manner is essential, always adopting a clear, positive, friendly but decisive approach. The candidate can work remotely but there will be occasional requirement to work as required from a client site to undertake activities that cannot be performed remotely, and candidates will have to have a full UK driving licence.
