HR Business Partner
We are expanding our HR team in the UK and we have an opportunity for a HR Business Partner. The role of HR Business Partner will encompass many areas of the people agenda including general ER issues, restructuring projects, and talent and performance management. Renewi’s HR team are in the process of developing our operating model and infrastructure, so it is an exciting time to join and have a real influence in managing this change agenda. You will have a strong generalist skill-set and take a commercial approach proactively facilitating change across the business whilst dealing tactfully and confidently with all key stakeholders. The role will suit an individual who enjoys both strategic HR and change management, but also hands on operational activity.
HR Business Partner Responsibilities:
• Project manage key people projects and/or workstreams, with involvement from HRD, through to ensuring hands-on delivery of milestones to the agreed quality and within agreed timescales
• Ensure that project deliverables are capable of achieving the defined business benefit and meet operational requirements
• Manage stakeholders and project sponsors at each stage of the project and facilitate / liaise with subject matter experts
• Work with the HR calendar to project manage and ensure smooth delivery of the talent, performance management and reward cycle including collation of pay review and bonus information.
• Working with the business to ensure we achieve operational excellence through organisational design and development
• Coaching, challenging and assisting Line Managers in the understanding and implementation of policies
• Interpreting and advising on employment legislation
• Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.
• Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
HR Business Partner Requirement:
• A good working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, project management and people management processes and policies.
• Track record of end to end delivery of HR projects across a broad range (both at tactical and strategic levels) with excellent analytical and programme management skills
• CIPD Qualified with solid experience in an HR Business Partnering role, ideally in a large matrixed organisation
• Experience in organisation design and development including implementation from a legal and change management perspective
• Problem solving ability and demonstrated analytical skills
• Ability to develop effective working relationships, capable of inspiring trust and confidence.
• Good commercial acumen regarding business cases and post implementation reviews
• Ability to influence at director level, helping to think through the challenges in the business and provide innovative and creative solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Location: The HR BP will be mainly supporting sites in Essex / South, but the role will include travel to Milton Keynes and other locations across UK.

Contract type: Full time
Salary: £44,000 – £48,000 pa + car allowance
