rade A Recruitment are currently seeking SEND Teacher needed for long-term supply cover in Milton Keynes.

Grade A Recruitment are currently seeking a bank of SEND Teachers across Peterborough for day-to-day and long-term supply work in the new academic year. Some positions have the view of going permanent.
We work with schools and PRU’s that cater for children with a variety of needs including SEMH, ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD snd more.
As a Supply Teacher working in local SEND Schools, you will be able to cover lessons suited to your curriculum strength and you will also be required to cover across the wider curriculum and work to tailored curriculum’s specifically tailored to the needs of the SEN students.
Your duties:
• Leading classroom sessions, often with the support of SEND Teaching Assistant(s)
• Supervise students in lessons whilst delivering pre-prepared work left by the teacher.
• Managing pupil behaviour in the classroom
• Be familiar with the school’s policies and procedures and deal with any immediate problems.
• Collating the completed work from the lesson and leaving a handover for the returning teacher.
What you’ll need to succeed ;
In order to be successful as an SEN Supply Teacher, you should have finished your studies and hold full QTS. You must be an experienced Teacher with recent experience working with pupils with a range of SEN, SLD and ASD would be beneficial. You should have a good knowledge of the current curriculum and a passion for helping children to achieve their full potential.
