We're currently recruiting for an EHS Officer in a stand-alone role for an industrial business at their Milton Keynes manufacturing and production site.

Client Details

Our client is an established manufacturer of specialist products with sites up and down the country. The EHS Officer position will be responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental issues on site, actively promoting a proactive culture for H&S and ensuring the business achieves re-accreditation for its management systems (ISO 14001, 45001).

Description

– Ensure that site Health and Safety systems, regulations and codes are adhered to by all on site.

– Responsible for co-ordinating HSE activities on shop floor and taking an active responsibility in training, educating and developing staff and their understanding of HSE's significance on a site that has a high output-focus

– Identification and evaluation of hazardous conditions and practices in work place

– Conduction of HSE audits on site across ISO14001, 45001

– Legal compliance audits to comply with LOLER, Dangerous Goods and COSHH

– Responsible for the co-coordination of risk assessment activities including record keeping. Analysis of risk assessment, near miss and accident datA

Profile

– NEBOSH General Certificate minimum qualification

– Manufacturing background essential

– Excellent communication skills

– Keen commitment to the development of HSE behaviours

– Collaborative approach with key skills in coaching and training

– Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with demanding customers

Job Offer

Salary for the successful EHS Officer is from £38,000 – £42,000
