Main Duties and Responsibilities

Re-proof waterproof garments
Wash and Care for down Jackets
Mending customers damaged garments and tailoring
Responsible for managing stock of all trims/fabrics/wash detergent and reproofing

Looking after the machines
Managing workflow of tasks through the service centre independently
Weekly updates with the Customer Service Manager
Support with invoices and logging of repairs
Produce Monthly reports on repairs
General

Work effectively independently
Focussed and committed to completing daily workload
Feedback on any suggestions to improve procedures/systems with the area
Communicating with the Customer Service team
Communicating to the Customer Service Manager/Supervisor
Weekly instructions from CS Manager
Who are we looking for?

Experienced industrial sewing machinist, with a wide range of skills sewing all garment parts for a wide variety of products

Flat lock and overlock sewing is essential
To be skilled in sewing a wide variety of technical fabrics, for example stretch, polyester, woven & jersey

Confident in altering/mending garments where required
To have at least 3 years’ experience of working on an industrial sewing machine
