My client’s a highly innovative force in the ground, air and heat transfer world, but as a small expert team, they may well be flying under your radar.

Based in Buckinghamshire, they’ve not only taken the technology forward with some impressive partners, but also applied it to ground-breaking projects that are industry firsts.

You’ll find their systems heating (and cooling) factories, office blocks, supermarkets, prisons and apartment blocks; in the process saving thousands of tons of carbon emissions.

Now they are working on a new product which will transform how we heat our homes.

Currently they’re a small team with a big order book and they’re now looking to welcome some additional engineers, including a creative Electronic Design Engineer.

Controls Engineer: hardware design and programming for remarkable projects

Our client’s solutions feature interesting technologies such as ventilation, air conditioning and heat pumps. Often their systems replace or work alongside legacy systems.

You’ll be designing control systems that address the many, often unique challenges that arise from one project to the next, as the team’s principal control specialist.

The job offers close involvement throughout the project and you’ll play a key role in delivering the solution, from conceptual design, through FMD, to commissioning.

While much of the role is desk-based you can expect to visit sites during the commissioning phase, so you’ll get to see your work in action.

* Degree in Electrical Engineering

* Able to design new products

* Able to produce clear work packages, specifications and design drawings

* Enjoy working with small, creative teams on technically challenging projects
