We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our expanding team based in the Milton Keynes area.

The Project Engineer will work in a fast-paced semi-automated environment and focus on installing new machinery and new technology into the manufacturing site with a large cap ex budget over the next 18 months!

The Project Engineer Daily Duties:

– The Project Engineer will gain an understanding of faults within automated plant machinery and facilitate improvements to rectify the problems on a proactive basis.

– Project Engineer new machinery installations into the site along with Plant layout and machinery specification.

– Track project spend and time-lines to ensure compliance with established milestones.

– Work with Production and supplier stakeholders to coordinate machinery repair / upgrade projects.

– You will investigate repeat failures and use root cause analysis to target machines or areas highlighted by KPI data.

– Establish supplier machinery capabilities and installation requirements.

The Successful Project Engineer:

– Previous involvement of handling capital expenditure projects for Machinery installation or refurbishment. 

– Confident with generating 2D Drawings for production site layout.

– The Successful Project Engineer will ideally have some competence in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines although single skilled will also be considered.

– Previous Experience of budgetary control, specifying machinery requirements and working with suppliers. 

Candidates could also be considered from: Project Manager / Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer / industrial Engineer.

Salary –           £40,000 – £45,000
Hours –            8.30am – 5:00pm
Holidays –        25 days
