About the role:
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Payment Support Assistant to provide organised, flexible and effective administrative support to the income team. You’ll take ownership of enquiries including referral or signposting to the Payment Support Advisors; providing an efficient service for incoming and outgoing correspondence and preparing and maintaining standard documents used by the team, keeping them up to date and accurate. You’ll also maintain accurate customer and property information, updating systems as appropriate; carry out tenancy checks and verifications and process invoices for payment, ensuring enforcement action is avoided along with assisting the team with rent collection.
What they’re looking for:

Previous experience of working within an administrative role, it would be advantageous if this was within a rent/debt collection environment but that is not essential

GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
*
Experience of delivering outstanding customer service
*
Strong IT and communication skills
*
Someone who is a strong team player and can collaborate with colleagues and external agencies
*
Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload
