We are currently working with a day service specialising in adult social care. They currently have positions for Casual Care staff to join the team.

SALARY: Competitive salary

WORKING HOURS: Hours to be discussed

Key Duties:  

To provide and deliver interesting and engaging community and group based activities for individuals and groups of clients.
To monitor activities and ensure they continue to meet evolving client needs.
To provide practical assistance/support to clients to meet their needs and ensure a quality service is delivered
To provide support with personal care / medication when required in line with policies and procedures.
To proactively contribute to the improvement and accountability within the service.
To positively encourage best practice and dignity in care, taking responsibility for raising concerns where practices fall below the level expected
To ensure that records are organised and maintained accurately.
To attend meetings on a bimonthly basis (or as required) when possible.
To attend training when required
To work from various locations to deliver the service, as and when required
Take part in the supervision/appraisal process
What do you need?

To be caring and compassionate
Able to work on own initiative
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Having a drivers licence would be desirable
