Fleet Administrator

We are looking for a Fleet Administrator to support the company Transport Manager's in dealing with the day to day compliance of their operators’ licence and to deliver optimum fleet utilisation and efficiency.

Our client operate a fleet of Tipper Trucks, including articulated lorries which are used for haulage of materials and supplies for their customers. They have in excess of 60 vehicles on their fleet and the upkeep and maintenance of these vehicles is the shared responsibility of the Transport Manager and the Fleet Administrator, alongside senior management. You will be required to carry out MOT preparation, preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling of general repair work on a fleet of trucks.

Key Features of the Role:

* Organising and scheduling fleet vehicle services, repairs, MOT prep and PMI on a mixed fleet of heavy commercial trucks alongside Transport Manager in order to minimise vehicle downtime.

* Data Input of Fleet Report data, such as stock lists, parts, fuel report data

* Retain a good understanding and knowledge of DVSA regulations, including the HGV Inspection Manual

* Ensure paperwork is legible, fully completed and meets DVSA Standards

* Quality check all fleet vehicle repairs to the highest standards and complete job cards

* Order correct parts as required to effect repairs and co-ordinate repairs

* Be aware of H&S regulations and risk assessments and complete all associated paperwork

Requirements

* Must have previous experience of working within a car/truck parts stockist or working within a Fleet/Transport Department (Haulage company experience highly desirable)

* Good knowledge of organising vehicle parts with varying vehicle manufacturers (Mercedes & Volvo preferred)

* Available to work Monday – Friday 6am – 4pm

* Role will be office based in Iver, with occasional local travel when required to collect parts/documents

* Post holder MUST be a car owner and driver
