Job Details My client, an expanding specialist contractor company that manufacture and install the creative concept of design companies, architects, and artists, is seeking an experienced Joinery Sprayer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in finishing within a joinery/cabinet-making business and must have the ability to spray all joinery projects including bespoke elements of stand construction, museum pieces, and furniture items to a high standard.
You will need to be passionate about your work with good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a top-quality finish. In your role as Joinery Sprayer, you will:
• Operate spraying machinery including pump system, pressure pot system, gravity gun, air sanders, and associated equipment
• Preparation of substrate applications of high-quality polyurethane topcoat paint finish using a spray gun, spot priming, and fading in small remedial works using brushwork
• Filling, preparation work, base coats, refill and spray paint to a variety of products
• Maintain consistent levels of housekeeping in the paint shop including quality, stock control, and production control information
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times
• Follow all plant safety regulations and consider safety first in all job actions
• Maintain the highest quality and customer service standards
• Perform other duties within other sectors of the business as required and as assigned
• Quality check the products and generally help out with production and around the warehouse
To succeed as Joinery Sprayer, you will need:
• 1-3 years paint spraying experience with the relevant service requirement
• Fully experienced in the spraying of showcases, large counters & furniture with PU, Pre-Cat, Paint, and lacquers including spray gun and associated items maintenance
• Must be able to understand and utilize proper and safe operating procedures
• Think 3 dimensionally in order to visualize construction steps
• To understand and utilize proper and safe operating procedures • Good attention to detail • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Good communication skills.
• A full UK driving license • Experience in High Gloss finishes and French Polishing would be an advantage but is not a requirement
