Basic Salary £40k-£45K (D.O.E.) with Potential O.T.E of £55K-£60K

Our highly successful Marlow based client who designs, manufactures and delivers a wide range of applications in the UK and overseas, is looking to recruit a driven and experienced Technical Sales Engineer.

Working within the Sales Team, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to deliver and drive the sales of manipulators in the UK. You must be driven, with the ability to meet targets and have proven experience of technical sales.

The use of one of the fleet vehicles will be supplied, as travel throughout the UK will be required.

Duties of the Role:

* Proactively identifying and establishing new business

* Demonstrating (where appropriate) their products to aid achievement of sales targets

* Engaging with customers to generate a demand for the product

* Identifying and developing new market sectors

* Pricing and creating quotes for new business

* Inputting sales data into Portal

* Producing sales activity reports for Sales Manager

* Completing administration tasks to a high standard in line with customer quality system

* Providing after sales support

* Attending trade exhibitions

Special Requirements:

* Mechanical or electrical engineering background

* Successful track record in Technical Sales, preferably mechanical engineering

* Experience in project engineering (desirable)

* Experience in selling bespoke mechanical handling solutions/engineering solutions (desirable)

* Commercially astute and capable of negotiating contracts, terms and conditions

* Self-motivated and results driven

* Adaptable, flexible and with excellent presenting, written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to manage and prioritise workload

* Good team member

* Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications

* Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel UK wide
