Project Manager
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £50,000 neg + Company Car/Fuel Card
Location: Griffin Lane, Aylesbury. HP19 8BP
We are recruiting for a proven Project Manager with a drainage bias to manage the delivery of our maintenance programme across the Buckinghamshire network.
Based out of Aylesbury, the Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of a drainage portfolio programme of work and the management of supply chain partners to deliver programmes against the business plan. You will assist the Area Managers with budget and supervision as well as manage the engineering team across the County. The successful candidate will promote a high level of customer service and manage a team to ensure that their programmes of work are delivered according to agreed timescales, and the required quality and legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven project management of reactive highway drainage programme
* IEng/CEng and MICE status or equivalent
* Proven knowledge of NEC contract and Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
* Ability to maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and members of the public
* Extensive knowledge of design procedures, standards and good practice documents
* UK Driving licence (no more than 6 points)
You would be responsible for:
* The delivery, either through supply chain or direct labour, of various construction projects for drainage and flooding work streams
* Resolving technical issues as they occur across a range of projects
* Attending progress meetings and meet with stakeholders as appropriate
* Line management of a team comprising of engineering staff
* Delivering the programme of works is delivered to budget, to programme and to the right quality
* Ensuring strong budgetary control and financial management is undertaken
* Mobile flexibility – being able to attend all site and depot locations within Buckinghamshire
* Managing the Health and Safety, Environmental Management System, Quality Management Systems
