A large multinational corporation with the European head office based in the UK are seeking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their team within the Milton Keynes area. 

Although part of this large corporation the successful Quality Manager will work within a small team supplying a selection of demanding automotive businesses.  You have the opportunity to be a part of this divisions continued growth and success by joining and championing the businesses Quality Function.

The Quality Manager role: 

– Working across an extremely varied range of Automotive products you will lead all aspects of Quality assurance and control within the business.

– Remaining hands on, your Quality manager role will be one which doesn’t manage a team of staff but the Quality function and systems within the business.

– Manage the Quality management system is successfully documented, compliant and available to all staff on site.

– Facilitate the internal Quality Audit program to ensure IATF16949 compliance.

– Assist product development team members with Quality deliverables such as APQP and PPAP submission requirements.

– Represent the business with Customers and suppliers on all quality matters, whether that is reactive problem solving or improvement activities.

The Quality Manager Candidate: 

– Previous experience within a Snr Quality Engineer role or Quality Management position.

– Knowledge of Quality management systems including IATF16949 & ISO14001.

– Previous experience, ideally within the automotive sector but will be considered from high complexity manufacturing environments.

– Experienced in managing a varied role within the quality discipline is essential.

– Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing understanding and experience.

– Willingness to travel internationally (primarily Europe) on occasion.
