Building Surveyor / Project Manager Job in High Wycombe

Due to an increasing number of projects, our established multidisciplinary consultancy client now requires a Building Surveyor / Project Manager to join their team of 9 in High Wycombe. The role can be a split of Building Surveying / Project Management or hold more of a bias in one discipline dependent on the candidate, working on new build and refurbishment residential projects. The role offers a salary of £30k – £43k, inclusive of car allowance and support with APC.

The consultancy offers a multitude of services to include project management, surveying, cost consultancy and design management and specialise in residential and affordable housing projects for developers, RPs, and Local Authorities. Made up of around 50 employees and 3 offices, they are continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East. The role would suit candidates at Grad level up to mid-level Building Surveyor / Project Manager.

Role & Responsibilities

– Working on new build, remedial and refurbishment residential and affordable housing projects

– Prepare specifications

– Contract administration, project management and CDM duties

– Acting as employers agent

– Site surveys and investigation

– Client liaison and advise on development plans

– Liaise with sub-consultants

Required Skills & Experience

– Experience as a Building Surveyor / Project Manager

– Degree in Building Surveying or another RICS approved Degree

– On the APC pathway

– Residential / affordable housing sector experience although other sectors will be considered

– Consultancy background

– Experienced in working across multiple projects

– Experienced in both pre-contract and post-contract

– Proficient in Microsoft Office
