Technical Sales Engineer

Salary – £38,000 to £48,000 + Company Success Payment + Excellent Benefits Package

Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have a new and exciting opportunity for Technical Sales Engineer to join the team based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes.

If you have a background in mechanical engineering or an engineering graduate with a good knowledge of EC & UK transport legislation and excellent communication skills then this could be the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Advising transport engineering solutions to the dealer network, customers and bodybuilders
Developing and maintaining relationships with dealer network, bodybuilders and factory to accurately describe marketed range, technical solutions and development wishes
Support the dealer network with queries of a technical nature and demonstrate reasoning through robust calculation and measurement methods

Key requirements for the role:

High levels of competence in maths, physics, English and mechanical engineering with supporting qualifications
Good knowledge of both EC and UK road transport legislation
Self-motivated, able to work within a team and individually
The role will include some travel within the UK and Europe so a flexible approach to work is seen as a pre-requisite
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both spoken and written and be capable / comfortable presenting to both internal and external customers
Articulate and professional approach
Full driving licence

Desirable

LGV C and C+E licence
