Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Milton Keynes/Bedford – up to £35K

Our client has a fantastic reputation in the construction industry delivering high quality projects across different sectors throughout the Home Counties and East Midlands region as well as surrounding counties. The projects are technically challenging but exceptionally interesting and varied.

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years experience gained with a Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor and a minimum qualification to HNC/HND within a construction related discipline.

Based across projects/offices in Bedford/Milton Keynes and North Buckicnhamshire, you will work within an established commercial team playing a pivotal role in projects, supporting Surveyors and Senior Surveyors in delivering the commercial functions on multi-million pound projects.

Using your experience over time your responsibility will grow within the team and from the time your employment commences, you will be put on a clear and defined growth path to exceed your career expectations.

Person specification

* A minimum of HNC/HND qualified within a commercial discipline ideally.

* Minimum of three years industry related experience.

* UK construction experience ideally with a Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor.

* Professional and Self-Motivated.

* Excellent IT skills.

* Good team player with a positive attitude to develop their career.

* Driving Licence with own vehicle.
