Finance Manager, High Wycombe, 6 months, £300 – £325 per day:

Our client has been at the forefront of technological innovation for over 60 years, leading the way within scientific instrumentation and research tools. With an immediate need for an interim Finance Manager to join their business, MARS Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for a Finance Manager to head up a small finance team who support this global business. We are looking for a Finance Manager who has managed a finance function within a global engineering or manufacturing business.

The Role:

The Finance Manager will support this business through the following key areas: Reporting, Budgeting & Planning, Preparation of UK Accounts & Business Unit Support. You will also have a small team of Finance and Accountancy professionals to manage on a day to day basis to achieve your responsibilities across the above areas.

About You:

The successful Finance Manager will be a fully qualified Accountant either in CIMA or ACCA. Ideally you will be degree educated but this is not essential. What is key for this interim Finance Manager role, is experience managing a Finance function within a global business, ideally one that is a specialist manufacturer or engineering organisation. You will have developed a high degree of numeracy and analytical skills, with experience of consolidation, budgeting and forecasting. Our client is also looking for someone who has a high level of commercial awareness with a hands-on approach to running a Finance team.
