About your new role
Our client is looking to strengthen their marketing department and are looking to hire a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager / Co-Ordinator. To be successful in this role we will need an individual with the motivation to chase new leads for our Estimating Department and develop existing & new relationships with clients & consultants etc. Overall, the individual will be seen at the front of the company and will require the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
Duties to include but not limited to
Goal of position is to drive sustainable financial growth by increasing sales and developing relationships. Specific
responsibilities are –
Contact existing clients to ensure we are considered for future developments.
Contact and follow up on new leads, guaranteeing we are appointed to the tender list for future developments.
Research into consultants, surveyors & project management type organisations to find new opportunities to
improve tenders & sales and build long-term relationships.
Research into new market sectors to improve tenders & sales.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Planning and overseeing company involvement in exhibitions.
Raising company profile by attending relevant conferences, meetings and industry events.
Maintaining and developing social media status.
What you need to succeed:
Ideally to have experience within sports construction/landscaping or general construction industry but at very least should
have experience within business development / sales & marketing.
Strong communication and IT skills specifically in Word, Excel & PowerPoint (experience with Squarespace would
be a bonus).
Ability to work well as an individual and be pro-active.
Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to work within a team.
