One of our National manufacturers are recruiting a Group Production Planner responsible for demand planning across both factories.
The Role
The company have a great reputation within their industry for quality products and services. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager your role is to ensure effective capacity planning is collaborative with supply.
* You will be reviewing the current process and develop a 4-week production plan inclusive of the supply chain programme to deliver seamless supply to the plan with a one day strategic set off.
* You will be reviewing all inventory levels and compiling and delivering an action plan to maintain the stated levels.
* You will deliver and support the daily Production schedule to satisfy all customer orders each day.
* You will ensure that inventory value and physical stock is at the company set targets.
The Candidate
A dynamic analytic, and practically minded individual you can work in a high energy, fast moving environment, with excellent communication skills.
You will have an appetite to plan, supply and deliver thousands of products per week and increasing.
* High degree of commercial and financial awareness
* Leadership skills
* High use of forecasting and planning tools
* Ability to interpret large sets of data and create simplified concise reports.
* Analyse stock and volumes and maximise efficiency.
* A practical knowledge of assembly manufacturing with a high degree of common-sense approach principles.
* Ability to integrate and network with other key commercial and operational departments.
* You have excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
* If you have experience of working with IFS, SAP and FMX operating systems, this will be to your advantage. However, an excellent knowledge of MRP/ERP is a prerequisite.
