Our client, a global B2B logistics company, is looking for a talented Senior Operations Director to join its Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will participate in setting the strategic direction and developing the operational plan for this ambitious, high growth UK business.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate with the following:
*Breadth and depth of experience at Senior Operations Director level, successfully leading high performing, multi-functional teams in a multi-site operational environment
*Expertise in initiating and managing successful B2B sales and service relationships
*Experience of developing and delivering a team culture of excellent customer service
*Experience of personally developing strong relationships with external customers
*A passion for building and coaching high performing teams
*Resilience, mental agility, strong analytical, financial, commercial and problem-solving skills
*A collaborative style, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

To be considered for the role candidates will:
*Be educated to Degree/MBA level, with strong levels of literacy and numeracy and well-developed IT skills
*Be results oriented and act with a sense of urgency
*Be comfortable leading in an ever changing, fast paced, dynamic environment
*Have high integrity, a strong sense of social responsibility, respect and professionalism
*Be flexible and willing to travel throughout the UK
