Programme Manager (Affordable Rental Sector)

Immediately Required

Salary: Circa £45-50k

Location: Flexible

DK are proud to be working with a forward thinking, expanding organisation, who are looking for someone to join their Programme Management team. Our client is a leading provider of affordable rent to buy homes across the UK and has recently won recognition at the National Housing Awards.

Based in the programme management team, you will have oversight of most operations; seeing schemes through from offer to completion.

Responsibilities Include:

* Facilitate the delivery of a pipeline of projects across the country, in line with key performance targets

* Promote the culture, aims and ambitions of the organisation both internally and with external partners

* Oversee the successful and effective legal, procurement and project management of the development schemes to agreed timescales, standards and budgets, in compliance with statutory and funders requirements.

* Engage with Area management team to ensure that offers accepted are contracted in a timely way and that collaboration agreements, leases, purchase contracts, S106 agreements and other documentation is agreed prior to exchange of contracts.

* Support the asset management and sales programmes, in line with key performance indicators

* Play a key role in promoting and supporting the growth of the business and the refinement of systems, processes, and policies.

* Undertake other key responsibilities as required by your line manager, the board and chief executive

You will need:

* A good understanding of the legal aspects of the property and development sector, including planning and financial areas.

* Ability to liaise with lawyers and keep to budget

* Working knowledge of the planning process

* Experience dealing with local authorities, housing associations, RSL’s, Homeowners etc

* Familiar with the concepts of build programmes

* Knowledge of the housing market.

* It is desirable for you to have a Technical/Surveying background, preferably with a RICS qualification
