Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established manufacturer of tail lifts who supply the commercial vehicle sector.  The company require a new Key Accounts/Sales Manager to cover and develop their client base across the South of England. With a highly competitive package this is a great opportunity for an individual from either commercial vehicles or other capital equipment to join an exciting and fast-growing organisation.

Responsibilities

Dealing with an existing client base across the South of England, to include the M25 area, London and further East & West
Work with Body Builders and other key accounts to maximise the revenue in selling tail lifts
Developing the client base across this region by hunting for new business and new areas of distribution
Work with a customer base to include commercial vehicle companies and truck suppliers to ensure sales of tail lifts and other products
Work with the Service department to ensure 100% compliance with sales

Requirements 

You will be a proven sales professional, ideally from within the commercial vehicle industry. Although there is a lot of existing business for this position the organisation who are really looking for an individual who can exploit and hunt for new business opportunities in addition to account manage effectively. Experience from another capital equipment background will also be considered in addition to commercial vehicles though a technical understanding or ability to pick this up quickly is crucial. In terms of location you can be based anywhere from the Home Counties area down to the South Coast and across to the South West or South East.
