LOCATION OF WORK: Remote working. You can work onsite in Milton Keynes if this is preferred.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months initially

IR35 DETERMINATION: Outside of IR35

THE ROLE:

An Automotive electronics business in Milton Keynes require an Embedded Software Engineer to join a medium sized project team for an initial 6-month contract.

You will be working on the upgrade of a vehicle telematics device, which is a core product for the business. You will be tasked with developing new features and enhancements for the device, which is having a total overhaul (including new hardware).

For this role you should be a confident Embedded C RTOS programmer who has experience interfacing to the CAN protocol. It would be highly desirable if you have worked on devices/ products for the Automotive sector.

You will be working in an Agile environment on this project. Having prior experience of working in this way is desirable.

Embedded C
RTOS
Microcontroller/ Microprocessor experience
CAN protocol interfacing
MISRA
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

Automotive sector experience
Worked on devices using Wireless protocols e.g. 3G, 4G, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
ARM Cortex
Python scripting experience
