Job Title: Mortgage and Loan Advisor

Location: Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire

Salary: Competitive basic salary, plus uncapped commission

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm

Our client is one of the UK's largest specialist property finance groups who pride themselves with their first-class service and expert market knowledge. Due to an increase in business, they are looking for an experienced Mortgage and Loan Advisor within Buy to Let and Commercial Mortgages and Loans, to join the Master Broker side of their business. Leads would be provided, as well as full administration support is provided. Due to the location of the office, it would be highly beneficial if the successful candidate held a driving licence. Onsite parking is available.

Responsibilities for the role of Mortgage and Loan Advisor

Take new enquires from a variety of sources.
Initial enquiry follow up with call to broker/client.
Check over terms completed by admin and send out with necessary compliance documentation to client/broker
Ensure all details are fully completed on CRM immediately once new enquiry received and ensuring notes are up to date on all cases.
Offering best advice to all clients for their borrowing needs
Identifying requirements and placing with the suitable lender.
Advising compliance of any new brokers so they can request documents
Review application packs and documents received.
Underwrite new applications and package them with care, skill and diligence to present a perfectly packaged case to a lending partner.
Reviewing valuations when received and submit to lender.
Review AIP's and Offers received – checking all financial details and requirements
Check case and completion updates for correct content and send to client/broker
Consistently process pipeline business, ensuring an efficient and satisfactory outcome for the borrower.
Maintain existing broker and customer relationships, generating leads from these contacts.
Ensuring introducers relationships are maintained and establishing new relationships
Maintaining a high level of service for all introducers & their clients
Answering calls and taking new enquiries from brokers adhering to the Company's SLA's
Liaising with solicitors, lenders and brokers on completions
Ensure CPD is maintained to an appropriate levelExperience required for the role of Mortgage and Loan Advisor

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Advisory role
Must have experience in specialist mortgages, either within a whole of market brokerage or a master broker
Must have experience in Buy to Let
CeMAP is not essential but would be nice to have
GCSE Maths and English essential
Experience in Commercial Mortgages/Loans would be highly desirable
Have enthusiasm and be willing to go above beyond, no matter the size of the task
Ability to work well under pressure
Must have high attention to detail
Clear, Eloquent and Upbeat telephone manner
Ability to think outside the box
Must be a team player
Ability to manage own diary, manage deadlines and meet targets set
