Service Advisor, Milton Keynes

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Service Advisor to join an established Commercial vehicle dealership based in Milton Keynes

Key Responsibilities:

• To work as part of a team delivering a first class, professional customer service ensuring that where possible customer enquiries, payments and complaints are resolved at the first point of contact.

• To greet customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.

• To take decisions within established procedures for each service request including logging, processing and progress chasing enquiries, adhering to service level agreements and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction.

• To maintain electronic and written records of letters and forms received, information given, services requested and complaints made, to ensure accuracy of information and efficiency when dealing with customers.

• To undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Customer Service Reception.

• To give repair estimates and price quotations and offer repair suggestions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.

• Register new vehicles.

• Ensure invoices and taxing vehicles are completed accurately and on time.

• Create vehicle and customer records facilitating the development of an accurate, clean customer database and vehicle history.

• Answer incoming phone calls / general enquiries.

Person Specification:

• Previously worked in the motor trade

• Ideally had experience with Kerridge

• Well presented with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.

• PC literate with a working knowledge of administration procedures.

Hours and Salary:

07:00-16:00 or 09:00-18:00 which alternate week on week

One Saturday in four – 8am-12pm
