Job Title: Sales Manager – Telehandlers / Forklifts

Industry Sector: Telehandler, Forklifts, Lifting Equipment, Scissor Lift, Restricted Access Lifting, Aerial Work Platforms, Plant Equipment, Main Contractors, UK Hire Companies, Distribution, Ports and Warehouses

Area to be covered: National – based within 1 hour of Buckinghamshire

Remuneration: £45,000 – £55,000 Neg. + commission giving circa £60,000 OTE

The role of the Sales Manager – Telehandlers / Forklifts will involve:

* Field sales role, selling a distributed range of electric telehandlers nationally

* Promoting an exclusively distributed range

* Targeting tier one main contractors, UK hire companies and end users within distribution, ports, warehouses etc.

* 50% new business, 50% account management role

* Targeted to achieve circa (Apply online only) unit sales per year, once established in the role

* Typical order value between £70,000-£75,000

* Working out of our clients’ Buckinghamshire based office when not visiting clients

* On the road selling 3-4 days per week

* Large existing customer base to target

* National role

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager – Telehandlers / Forklifts with:

* Must have sold telehandlers or Forklifts

* Enthusiastic

* Likeable personality

* Comfortable with national role/ extensive UK travel

* Capable of managing and expanding existing relationships and generating new business relationships

* Able to generate a sales strategy and work autonomously

* Self motivated, hungry, pro-active and hands-on personality
