Senior Machine Foreman – Plant Operative Working Foreman

£286 per day – Permanent

Then you're in luck, we've got the perfect role for you and it starts immediately with pay of £286 per day.

Our client, a reputable construction and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced worker to join the current team located in High Wycombe.

About the role

Within this role you will be controlling and organising various operatives to create safe and efficient work on a daily basis.

Other elements to the role include:

Oversee and supervise daily operations of one of our Asphalt Paving Crews including the safety, quality, and personnel management aspects
Liaison with company Contract Management/ customers and other third parties as necessary
Lay materials to levels and specifications required
Completion of daily risk assessment and plant checks
Daily inspection of quality
Keep all machinery/ equipment and other PPE clean and safe
Willingness to work away/ weekends occasionally
Ensure the work of the operatives is carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the company Integrated Management System with due regard for the public, customers and other site employees
Liaising with management regarding material and plant requirements for each project
Maintain accurate site records as required and report them to supervisor or office in a timely and legible manner
Train and develop operatives to provide sufficient skills to meet contingencies such as holiday relief or sickness cover
Carry out any other tasks from time to time reasonably requested by the company What will you bring?

CSCS/ CPCS relevant qualifications
SSSTS (desirable)
Must have supervisory skills handling crews of up to 6 men
Must maintain high quality workmanship.
Previous experience as a Machine Foreman
