Data Entry Administrator / Database Analyst

We are looking for Data entry administrator / Database analyst to work as part of IT database team out of our support centre in Newport Pagnell. The IT database analyst will report to the Database Manager and will help manage the central databases for Welcome Breaks Epos and Forecourt systems

Your experience as Data Entry Administrator / Database analyst

Ideally you would have previous data Maintenance and management experience and maybe experience of product and pricing management within retail and hospitality industry but if not then we are looking for someone who has the following skills who we can train to learn the role.
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when inputting data
* Highly proficient in excel and Microsoft office
* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to customers and colleagues at all levels to provide a consistent level of friendly and helpful service.
* Excellent planning and time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities as Data Entry Administrator / Database analyst (with full training provided)

* The Management and maintenance of product data including retail prices, cost prices, barcode details, inventory control and profit margin information within our central Head Office, databases and back office applications.
* Ownership and delivery of databases deliverable for promotions, campaigns and new menu launches for any brand.
* Investigation and resolution of data variances from our site-based customers within defined SLA's including logging and updating reported issues. These are reported using the Zendesk application to facilitate reporting metrics.
* The upload and scheduling of content for POS customer media and digital menu boards.
* Delivery against all key data processes for IT, Commercial Operation and Finance reporting activities including Waitrose order scheduling, shelf edge labelling, fuel price changes and sales batch polling.
* Participation and delivery in any service improvements and optimisation across the brand range.
* Support data requirements of project activities, new workstreams and new brand openings.
* To create and update process and knowledge share documentation under defined working practices.
* Maintenance, version control and validation of Supplier Product Master files.
