ROLE- Assembly Engineer / Mechanical Assembler

LOCATION- Buckinghamshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £25,000- £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client manufactures small scale components and products and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician / Mechanical Assembler, on a permanent basis, near the Amersham area.

The Assembly Technician / Mechanical Assembler will ideally have the following attributes:

Mechanical Engineering BTEC/ ONC/ HNC/ HND / Apprenticeship or be QBE – any hobbies of assembly / car mechanic work / model making would also be considered
3 years or more experience of working in a similar hands on environment
Being competent with building products start to finish
Be happy to take on full training – have the aptitude to pick up the role quickly
Have the ability to meet deadlines
Have the ability to detect and correct errors
Be able to work well alone as well as part of a teamThe Assembly Technician / Mechanical Assembler role will involve:

Putting together components to create products
Working at small scale
Following drawings and working from instructions given
Working in a lab environment
