Role: Sub Agent – Civils

Location: Milton Keynes

Duration: Permanent

Salary – £45,000 – £50,000

Summary of the Sub Agent – Civils:

I'm currently looking for a Sub Agent to work for a tier 1 company on the East West Rail Project based in Buckinghamshire.

Responsibilities for the Sub Agent – Civils:

Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence.
Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed.
Managing subcontractors.
Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works.
Liaising with the client and other key stakeholders.
Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies.
Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
Regularly review procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible.Requirements for the Sub Agent – Civils:

Degree educated in an Engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
Experience working with rail clients including Network Rail and rail contractors
Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team comprising planners, designers, engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance to less experienced members of the team
Experience in drainage, earthworks, heavy civil works.
Manage own and others time, ensuring deliverables to agreed deadlines and within budget
Ability to meet challenging deadlines
PTS qualification
