SME contaminated land / remediation consultancy requires a Geo-Environmental Engineer to help with the delivery of brownfield development projects from inception through to completion. You will be managing projects on a technical, financial and commercial basis.
Once feet are under the table as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be required to manage complex contaminated land projects from tender stage through to remediation & validation. This will include the design, implementation and supervision of ground investigations, risk assessment on contamination datasets, writing technical reports, remedial strategies and validation reports.
Currently as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you must be able to produce phase 1 desk top studies, design and manage site investigation activities (Inc Trial Pitting, Gas Monitoring etc. It is essential that you can comfortably write high quality Geo-Environmental and/or Geotechnical interpretive reports.
The ideal Geo-Environmental Engineer candidate will have:
Degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have obtained an MSc.
Proven track record in geo environmental work and experience across a range of projects, ideally gained within a consulting environment
Experience of planning, managing, supervising and interpreting ground investigation data, in relation to contamination aspects
