Position available for a QI to join a award winning, bespoke manufacturing company in role offering technical development and genuine progression opportunities.
This is an ideal role for a motivated Quality Inspector that is looking to progress in their career. The company offers a development plan to all of the team to ensure they can expand their skills and knowledge within the business, whether this is within the quality team or moving into different departments within the company in the future.
The company themselves have been established for over 15 years and are a market leading SME. They are renowned for their staff development and retention and have won awards for their business conduct. Due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking for a QI to join their team.
Working alongside a team of 4, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for 8D and Root Cause analysis on site. You will approve supplier manufactured products and assist with customer returns ensuring to promote a culture of high standards across the business
.
You will be responsible for –
* Approving supplier products
* Confirming specifications
* Tests on production and new products
* 8D Root cause analysis
* Working with suppliers on returns
What experience should you have?
* Quality Inspector
* From an manufacturing background
* Experience with hand held measurement tools
* CMM experience (preferably PCDMIS, Aberlink or Mcosmos)
* Mechanical inspection experience
The salary on offer for this role is up to £26,000 depending on experience
