Warehouse Operative – Nights

Extrastaff are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work with our client based in Marston Gate, at Junction 13 of the M1. This is an ongoing temp role and is suited for someone who is happy with physical warehouse work, working night shift.

About the Warehouse Operative role:

You will be joining a team that processes a large volume of parcels., dealing with 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift.

In your team, you will scan parcels efficiently using Hand-Held Terminals and sort them into route numbers from a conveyor. You will also be required to load and unload vehicles.

This is a very business site environment and you will have to deal with large volumes of items. The role also requires physical lifting.

Flexibility is crucial for this role as the shift start times will move depending on parcel volume. The shifts will be from 5.30pm to 3am, however you may on occasion finish earlier, you must be able to work up to 3am. £9.50 ph

ReliableDue to the location of the site and the limited public transport options during the required working hours, you will need to have your own transport.
