Four years ago, I helped a Software Developer (MVC, C#, SQL Server) get a new job at an up-and-coming technology company. They've since gone on to learn (and master) .NET Core and cloud technologies like AWS, as well as develop a good understanding of the DevOps culture and environment. He now heads up one of the dev teams.

The same company is hiring another software developer. They have recently introduced microservices and containerisation into their stack, so if you've an eagerness to learn that, then you'll be provided with training on it. All they ask of you is a SOLID approach (see what I did there) and great attitude. A DRY sense of humour (sorry, not sorry) wouldn't harm either.

Working in a team of 25, you will work on a SaaS platform that’s now being used on a global scale. The chance to learn new tech is pretty much endless and the job's fully remote, but if you want to meet up with colleagues on an ad-hoc basis then that's fine – most of them live in/around Northampton and MK.

Starting salary is £(phone number removed) plus team bonding trips during work hours (when things are back to normal!), the aforementioned remote working and a company with very low staff turnover
