International Head of Finance

Our client is an e-commerce, omnichannel and direct to consumer company, primarily operating across Europe and US. They have over hundreds of products in their portfolio and serve more than 10 million people and are present in 40 countries all over the world including Europe, UK, US, Canada, Japan and Australia.

The Position:-

To manage the international finance team supporting all international accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, reconciliations between multiple management systems, monthly closings, accounting procedure, and internal control development and maintenance, and compliance with GAAP and local, state, federal, and international regulations and accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:-

Local statutory, audit and tax requirements in particular UK and Switzerland. Ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations. To this end international finance, VAT and tax experience is highly desirable.

Financial and non-financial reporting on a Daily, Weekly, monthly, Quarterly and Annual cycle.
Internal reporting structure and management reports giving greater visibility of successes and failures.
Highlighting areas for improvement, making recommendations and implementing recommendations as appropriate.
Internal Auditing of Process, driving improvements.
I.T.
Risk Management
Recommend cost-reduction solutions
Tax management
TP compliance
Work with CFO on funding options
Involvement with Demerger of group
Key role in ERP/CRM implementation
TM/IP/Domain Management of outsourced firm
