A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Security Supervisor has become available with one of the UKs leading Facilities Management companies.
You will be responsible for all security related matters within the designated building, ensuring the protection of infrastructure, safety of personnel and that all actions of the security team have a positive impact on the reputation of the firm, working closely with operational management to provide a professional and efficient service to the client.
Based at the corporate client site in Milton Keynes there are essential requirements that you currently have a valid SIA licence, and valid first aid certificate, along with experience of working in a corporate environment.
You will be responsible for:
The physical security of the premises, in conjunction with other Supervisor on duty
Ensuring the security team is rostered and staffed as required by the staffing plan (in conjunction with the Scheduler).
Management of the security team on shift (including: the distribution of daily rotas, daily rollcall, shift administration inc standing orders and Supervisor Noticeboard daily update, and holiday management).
Undertaking either roving or SCR supervisor responsibilities as detailed in SOPs and Ais
Maintain and update appraisal reviews and monthly Quality Inspection Reports.
Ensure adherence to the agreed SOP's by the security staff.
Carry out the duties of Incident Commander in the event of incidents and alarm activations ensuring the correct application of escalation procedures.
Working in conjunction with the Fire Life Safety team to manage Fire Safety processes and system issues.
Other day-to-day responsibilities as dictated by circumstances and the needs of the business and the client.
You will have:
Experience as first line manager, experienced Security Supervisor in a corporate environment
Fire Life Safety knowledge
Appropriate valid SIA Licence
A valid 1st Aid Certificate
Comfortable dealing with senior client personnel in a challenging environment.
Excellent time management skills, highly organised, with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
Good standard of physical fitness and able to stand for long periods of time and utilise a large number of stairs when required.
Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
A flexible, positive, and helpful attitude to the role.
Experience of managing incidents and emergency situations.
