Senior Warehouse Controller – Glazing & Aluminium Company
IQ Glass are the UK’s leader in high specification architectural glazing and associated framing systems. Based in exciting premises in Amersham, Bucks, they boast the largest residential glazing showroom in the UK, where architects, clients and designers come to learn / view their impressive glazing applications. There is also a large manufacturing facility and warehousing. The Group employs in excess of 200 staff across 3 sites and is one of the fastest growing brands in the UK. The company prides itself on being a modern employer and seeks to develop individuals to their maximum potential.
Role:
* To have the overall management of our very busy warehouse and storage premises in Amersham.
* To manage a team of 8-10 operatives and report directly to the Facilities Director.
* Must have a proven track record in this role within a similar warehouse & storage facility.
* A minimum of 2 references need to be provided with your application.
* You must have excellent IT skills and will have to demonstrate that you are proficient with the use of Excel & Word programmes. You will be provided with full training on our CRM systems.
* Accuracy and attention to detail is required, together with excellent time keeping, good people management skills, and an enthusiastic can-do attitude.
* You must have the ability to meet physical requirements including moving stock around the warehouse facilities.
* The role involves the daily interaction with our Project Management team to ensure that all goods are despatched on time to the relevant projects.
* You will also be managing a team of 4 in-house delivery vehicle drivers, and supervising the loading & unloading of external supplier deliveries.
A current Forklift license is required.
This is a Full time appointment.
Hours: Monday-Friday (phone number removed)pm.
Salary: Range is £28,000.00 – £32,000.00 pa dependent upon experience; 20 days holiday pa.
