Our client, a reputable and rapidly expanding Groundworks Company are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their established team. As Contracts Manager, you will bring extensive experience and knowledge of groundworks with national house builders, civil works, 278 works & roads and sewers.

Duties will include but are not limited to;

* Manage the Southern based contracts and projects from pre-construction to completion

* You will hold overall responsibility for any tender preparation

* Team management; Project team & Bids team. As well as managing external contractors and clients

* Overall responsibility for all project delivery including health & safety, health and environmental matters, design, quality, programme and financial performance

* Build and maintain a relationship with end clients as well as being their first point of call

Skills & Experience:

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent

* Extensive experience in the house building & groundworks (essential)

* Ability to work to tight deadlines and consistently deliver safe and efficient projects on time

* Proven track record in a similar position

* Experience of preparation of bids and tenders
