About the role:

They are currently looking for a highly organised and experienced construction professional to carry out clerk of works duties on a range of projects in our development programme.

The role will ensure that our construction work is carried out in accordance with legislation, specification, contract documentation and industry best practice. The post holder will work closely with the development project team, contractors and consultants in order to remove defects during construction and provide a high quality new home for our customers.

What they’re looking for:

Experience of working in the construction industry on new build housing sites.

*

Knowledge of defect recognition and diagnosis along with the skills to suggest effective remedial action.

*

Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, tenants and external contacts.

*

The ability to organise, prioritise and work on a number of projects at the same time.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to travel effectively and efficiently to our client’s sites.
