Design Engineer

Milton Keynes

£30,000 P/A + 20+8 Days Holiday Rising to 25+8 + Monthly Bonus + Pension

Mon – Thurs 09:00 – 17:00 Fri 09:00 – 16:30

Design Engineer sought within a well established growing manufacturer offering long term employment opportunities to the successful candidate.

This role will be suited to experienced design engineers from any manufacturing background, high exposure to SolidWorks FEA and AutoCAD will be highly advantageous however all design engineers will be considered.

The role in brief:

Design & Develop new products to adhere to customer requests.
Prepare new drawings for non-standard products ordered by customers.
Liaise with sales and customers regarding technical and design engineering issues.
Define product / system specifications.
Perform supporting analytical studies
Prepare and input manufacturing operations into Sage software.
Keep abreast of new developments, materials or processes for use in adaptation to company products.
Prepare drawings for tooling and jig fixtures.

The person required:

Extensive experience using SolidWorks
HNC in design engineering
Time served in a similar role
AutoCAD experience
FEA exposure
Manufacturing background
