SF Recruitment are recruiting for a HR Administrator / Payroll Administrator for a business based in Denham, London. Specific site address will be around the Chalfont St Peter / Chalfont St Giles areas. Local candidates are essential for this role.
Duties:
General HR tasks
– To support the business by contributing to the overall HR strategic plan by providing ideas and innovation and continuous improvement.
– To provide fair and consistent advice to line managers and employees in accordance with employment law and best practice, including advice on policies and procedures and general HR related matters.
– Ensure that the Employee Database is kept up to date.
– Liaising with the Group HR Administrator to ensure the organisation chart is up to date.
– Updating and implementing policies and procedures relevant to the project.
– Ensuring HR processes, including template letters, checklists, starters, leavers, and changes and the induction process are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
– Participate in any other HR work as required which will help the business to meet its objectives.
Payroll
– Ensure that all timesheets are received, tracked, saved and approved by management on a weekly basis.
– Liaising with the Group Payroll team to ensure they are notified of changes to terms and conditions in a timely manner.
– Ensure that new starter, leavers and any pay changes are communicated to payroll in a timely manner.
– Process leavers including acknowledgment of resignation letters, calculation of annual leave and liaising with relevant departments to ensure they are notified in a timely manner.
Recruitment
– Responsible for the recruitment of employees. Assisting the hiring managers and the project director to source suitable candidates through methods such as advertising on job boards and the use of recruitment agencies.
– Arranging interviews with candidates and assisting if required.
– Liaising with the client and Project Director to ensure that KPI targets for Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Skills Employment and Education (SEE) are met.
– Liaise with HSEQ Manager to ensure all new starter information, right to work documentation, medical information and training certificates have been input onto the clients employee database, BIOSITE.
– Ensure that all new starters have received the induction and work with Project Director to develop and implement a specific induction.
– Liaising with the Group HR Administrator to ensure recruitment admin cycle to include issuing offer letters, contracts and new starter packs for weekly and monthly paid employees for the project is completed.
– Carrying out right to work checks in accordance with Home Office guidelines for new starters.
– Qualifications information is collected and maintained on the HR database.
– Liaise with HSEQ/IT/Finance departments regarding new starters for the provision and allocation of PPE, company equipment etc as required.
Training
– Liaising with the Group Training Coordinator to ensure training is organised and booked for the site and office employees.
– Supporting line managers with training enquiries and liaising with Group Training Coordinator to ensure training is booked where required.
– Ensure that all new employees have completed consent forms granting permission for their training records to be shared with Group training coordinator in order that training can be arranged.
