We are currently working in partnership with a high profile government sponsored national project in the Milton Keynes area. They are seeking a Health and Safety Officer.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Set up and implement new incident reporting and auditing software
* Create and deliver interactive training content
* Design and implement audit programme (via software system)
* Carry out statistical analysis, create dashboards and reports for EMT
* Provide support and advice for Core business projects
* Liaise with regulatory bodies where required
* Support site Health and Safety Representatives
* Support the development of Culture Change through positive engagement / coaching
* Assisting with investigating accidents and incidents to determine their causes and make appropriate recommendations for improvements and preventative measures
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Worked to ISO 9001:2015
* Creating interactive H&S training content
* Experience of implementing Incident Reporting / H&S software
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* Confident communicator – works well across all department.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* Worked to ISO 15189:2012 accreditation.
* Experience of implementing software systems
* Experience of creating and delivering H&S training content
* Lab experience or solid understanding of biosciences
* Carrying out Legionella risk assessments
